Though I taught John many years at King George (four years total?), there were many (MANY!) days that I did not enjoy his presence in class. That's the way it goes: some students attend religiously and others more... uh... sporadically.
But, in spite of his attendance challenges, I have NO concerns about John. He is such a good guy: charming, kind, personable, interesting. And he's smart; that has always been clear to me.
So, John will figure out what he wants to do in life (maybe he knows already? Something to do with cars?) and he will be very successful. He has the sort of laid-back, easy-going personality that people like to be around, to work with, to hang out with.
It's been a pleasure, John. You never caused me a minute's trouble in my class. Thanks for always being honest with me, appreciative of my help, and willing to take responsibility for yourself (you KNOW that is one of my favourite things!).
All the best, John. Love ya!
